Thanks to the folks at BlerdCon, Sabrina and Will had the opportunity to see a preview episode (online of course, social distancing and all) of HBO’s upcoming series: Lovecraft Country – staring Jonathan Majors, Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Courtney Vance, and Michael K. Smith.
Directed, written and produced by Misha Green (Underground) and executive produced by Jordan Peele (Get Out, Us) and J.J. Abrams (Lost, Star Trek, Star Wars: The Force Awakens), Lovecraft Country tells the story of a young man who goes on a journey from his hometown in Chicago to “Lovecraft Country” — a place filled with monsters — the otherworldly kind and the racist human kind, to find his missing father with his uncle and childhood friend tagging along.
